If you are a football fan, then you definitely have to attend a Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony. It is the ultimate fan experience. Being in the mist of some of the greatest to ever play the game, is mind blowing.
The city of Canton, OH where the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the ceremony takes place, knows how to do it right. From the volunteers to the hall of fame staff, they make you feel like more than just a ticket purchaser or media outlet, that is there to cover the events. You actually feel like you are apart of the ceremony and celebration. From the moment we stepped into the area, we were greeted with smiles and eagerness to assist us with whatever we needed to make our experience a great one.
The show host, Tyrik, was able to have one on one interviews with the 2019 enshrines and witness the magic of getting almost 100 of the current HOF members, along with the new members gather to take a historic photo together. Tyrik was also was able to snag some photos of himself with some of these greats. He also had a chance to go inside the HOF museum, where he saw some of the historic items that were used by some of the top NFL players and coaches, and the enshrinement statues of all of the previous HOF honorees, which was breathtaking.
When the enshrinement ceremony took place, we got to witness the emotions of Tony Gonzalez, Ed Reed, Champ Bailey, Gil Brandt, Johnny Robinson, Ty Law, Kevin Mawae, and the family of the late great Pat Bowlen. To hear the stories of these men and to see the tears of joy in their eyes and their families, was moving.
On the last day of the HOF events, the HOF Class of 2019 participated in a round table session with NFL report, Steve Wyche. It was a relaxing environment, where the fans were able to hear them answer questions about everything from, who should be in the HOF, to their favorite memories in the NFL.
Overall, it was a once in a lifetime experience and we cannot wait to cover it again next year, when the NFL will be celebrating 100 years. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the HOF will be inducting 20 people into the HOF.
#KnowTheSouth is the official hashtag for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, but they should also use, #delicious #plentiful and #oneofthebestfoodfestivalsinthesouth. This years event was just as fabulous as always. From the informative classes taught by some of the best chefs in the south, to the crowd pleasing food and drinks, the festival did not disappoint.
While we were enjoying some of the many libations and mouthwatering cuisine, we also had a chance to mingle with some of the attendees of the festival. Many of them are yearly visitors and mark their calendar each year in anticipation of, The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival.
If you missed this years event, then you missed out on great food, drinks, and a great crowd, but there is always next year. So, make sure you follow Atlanta Food & Wine Festival to be the first to know about next years event, and hopefully we will see you there!
